My tesco credit card debt has never been sold on by them, nor stated the collection is been done by a debt collector. My mum (aged 65) has received a letter today from lowell saying they have bought 'her' debt from vodaphone. When companies such as lowell buy these debts, they do so in bulk, many 1000`s of accounts at a time.
