Hello, i have multiple.laz files and i'm assuming they need to be converted to.las in order to load them into arcmap. Every tutorial i have found says to download laszip. I am having trouble with the classify las ground tool in the 3d analyst toolset.

I am attempting to view lidar point cloud data in arcgis pro. I have a laz point cloud file and i want to generate a dem from it in arcgispro to be used as an evaluation source for another layer. I am aware that laz cannot be open in arcgispro. Allow arcgis pro/conversion/convert las to work with laz files without a prj and let the user define which prj to apply to the output las or zlas file.

Here is a screenshot of what i have in the point cloud data folder after downloading and unzipping. I downloaded laz files from the usgs national map downloader and brought them into arcgis pro. Then i used the convert las tool in arcgis pro to convert the laz. I have downloaded laz files from the usgs national map.
