Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc??? Lana is a slavic short form of svetlana, milana etc. So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child.

Other names to go with [name]keira [/name]: While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over. Which would you pick and why? But could also be short for alana etc.
