I have to admit, it was always entertaining reading the comments on sf gate. No articles have comments enabled. Sfgate and freedom of expression?
They censor comments and terminate accounts if you don't carry the their one sided slant.
The only columns that will stay on sfgate.com are from sports and arts & entertainment. Find the best posts and communities about sfgate on reddit I went over to sfgate looking for information after the shootings in half moon bay earlier this year, and their top featured story was the defeat of woke m&m's gives me. So they hire former gawker people and people who write that.
There's a community for whatever you're interested in on reddit. Sfgate.com will no longer feature articles from the columnists. But, unless i'm mistaken, they've removed them completely. Same thing used to happen with many print newspapers / tabloids /.
