I have only had an issue with an xbox controller that came with the console when i bought it, as far as controllers go. Ebgames no longer offers free shipping , even if you order $100+ of stuff. Certainly ebgames staff at my local store told me in the past the boss/head. But that's probably because you're comparing the *base* ffxv day one edition (which is basically just base game +1 dlc weapon) vs the ebgames kings tale edition. $200 extra credit for disc ps5 / xbox series x consoles.
