My mum (aged 65) has received a letter today from lowell saying they have bought 'her' debt from vodaphone. I particularly want to clear the debts with lowell having read the thread about them being frivolous with statuary demands and following through on bankruptcy threats. When they are sold, the debts are legally assigned to lowell, that means they. I just want to inform them that i’ve said up a monthly standing order but there doesn’t seem to be a way to confirm the payment plan online. When companies such as lowell buy these debts, they do so in bulk, many 1000`s of accounts at a time. So i have quite a few debts, with various people now… 2 with lowell, 2 with moorcroft, 1 with westcotts.
