I've windows 8.1 pro (legit copy). A few days ago, i received an update for intel graphic 4000 from windows updates and i installed this. Since i updated using a clean, downloaded copy of sp3 for windows xp home edition, my xp computer hangs at the start up screen.

It's a big enough program that it has some effect on performance, but it would have exactly the same effect if i started it. I have to forcibly reboot in order to bring up and load. If i downgrade from windows 7 professional to vista business, can i go back to 7 if i want?!
