If you use the official speedtest cli from speedtest.net you get much better results. This is actually slower than the up/down speeds i used to get when i had. I generally use iperf to do local testing to make sure things are working correctly on my end and then use the speedtest.net cli to test out to the internet. When i go to speedtest.net (not sure how accurate they are, but i have always used it), i get around 285 up/down.
