I have migrated from windows xp to 7 sp3 and need to reinstall photoshop 7.0.the serial number that came with it, is declared as invalid. I have this old legacy copy of photoshop. I have my old standby photoshop 7.0 32 bit and have used it as far as win 8.1 64 bit, but the setup.exe file will not execute on windows 10 64bit, any suggestions?i've tried compatibility.

I have it installed on a windows 10 machine, but it sometimes wants (and fails) to install updates when firing. It's a legal copy with serial # and all. How to load photoshop 7.0 on windows 10 computer with no disc drive? I know these wouldnt normally be given out, but i was wondering since its such an old version if its possible.
And, has anyone tried gimpshop which is a freeware and a recommended alternative to photoshop.
